I've had two of these for a few months. This is one of those random gifts that ends up being a huge success with the kids. The lights look cool and the ball is soft so it doesn't damage things; it might if you threw it very hard but I don't. When it lands on the floor it pauses itself until you shake it again. So far the battery charge lasts well.

It's very easy to use so kids are spending time playing not being frustrated trying to figure out how to make it work. The battery life is kind of amazing too. My kids fly these things for 20-30 minutes at a time, and recharge time is only about ten minutes tops.

They're pretty durable. My five year-old son doesn't exactly use it as intended. He likes to pitch it like a baseball then chase it. Suffice it to say it has stood up to some abuse!

I would buy this again. This hover ball is actually a lot harder to throw and maneuver than I thought. I originally bought this gift for my nephew, who is seven years old. My mom and I played around with it for a couple of days before I gifted it. And I recommend YouTube videos for tutorials.

Maybe we’re just terrible at learning to control it, but we haven’t been able to get it to move with much predictability! So it’s definitely provided enough fun and value that I’m glad I bought it, but I thought it would have more fun-longevity because we would get better and better at it - like a really sophisticated frisbee :)

Was excited to get this for my grandson to have something interesting to do beyond screens. When initially tried, the ball when wonky, falling to the floor or ground after heading off in a crazy direction, bouncing off walls, etc. After many more tries, his mom finally got it to come back to her.

t's a really cool, unique toy and can be fun to use once you get the hang of it. That's the hard part! It takes time and patience to get used to using it the right way. I gifted it to my boys, ages 6 and 7.5. Sometimes they'd enjoy playing together.

The flying ball toy was an extremely advanced toy for my kids. Although at first touch it felt nice, once we started playing with it we realized what it was. When my son threw it, it went like a regular ball. Soon, he started to get the hang of it and we were awed as we watched it fly back every time.

The kids (and adults) really like this little floating orb! It is challenging to balance it correctly but everyone has had a blast playing with it. Great stocking stuffer or small gift. I bought many of these.. none have broken. Pretty durable.

Once we figured out just how to toss it, we loved playing with this! You have to ever so gently launch it at a slight tilt and it will glide nicely to the other person. My son figured out the tilt to make it return to him like a boomerang (or using "the force" as he calls it).
